He is only 1 year and 1 month old, yet he has already been in and out of the hospital multiple times due to breathing difficulties.
Little Rishant has been frequently hospitalized since he was two months old, due to recurring lung infections and difficulty breathing. He needs to see a doctor almost every month, sometimes staying in the hospital for several weeks at a time.
After further medical evaluation, he was diagnosed with Severe Sleep Apnea.
During sleep, his breathing repeatedly stops, placing him at constant risk. To support his condition, doctors introduced a CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) machine.
Within a short period, his breathing improved significantly, and his hospital admissions began to decrease.
Doctors have advised that consistent use of the CPAP machine can help stabilize his breathing, reduce the risk of infections, and allow him to gradually regain a more stable life.
However, his family is now facing serious financial hardship. Rishanth’s mother has no fixed income and is caring for him on her own, while trying to manage daily expenses. In addition to the breathing machine, Rishanth relies on a nasogastric tube for feeding.
Daily essentials such as milk formula, diapers, feeding syringes, and feeding tubes are ongoing necessities that cannot be interrupted. These long-term expenses have become an overwhelming burden for a single-parent household.
It is not that they are unwilling to provide, but they have reached a point where they simply can no longer afford to continue.
This time, we hope to raise funds for:
A CPAP machine
One year supply of milk formula and diapers
Feeding syringes and feeding tubes
Fundraising Goal: RM10,700
We are not just raising funds for medical equipment, we are helping a child gain the chance to breathe safely and grow, step by step.
If you are willing to extend your support, your contribution will become the strength this family needs to keep going.
