Urgent Fundraiser | 3-Month-Old Usman Longs to Return to His Parents' Arms
Some children begin life being held gently in their parents' arms, growing up wrapped in warmth and love. But MD Usman's beginning has been different he has been fighting to get through each day, one at a time, from within the walls of a hospital ward.
He is only 3 months old, and his tiny body weighs just 3kg. At this age, a baby should be nursing, sleeping, and growing safely in his parents' embrace.
But from the moment Usman was born, he has faced congenital heart disease, narrowing of the airway, and complications with his immune system.
Due to the complexity of his condition, he has also experienced calcium deficiency, irregular heartbeat, and seizures, requiring continuous medical monitoring and care.
Doctors have explained that Usman's body is still too small and too fragile to undergo surgery at this time.
For now, what he needs most is to stabilise his condition and once the doctors give their approval and the necessary costs are settled, to return home to his parents as soon as possible, to grow slowly and steadily, surrounded by love and presence.
Yet the weight of reality bears heavily on this family. The medical and discharge-related costs accumulated so far have reached【RM28,524.40】a burden this family must face before Usman can be brought home to receive the care he needs.
Your kindness, and your willingness to share, help ease the weight of these medical expenses for this little life, bringing him one step closer to returning to the arms that have been waiting for him.
Perhaps for us, it is simply an act of support. But for Usman, it is hope to leave the hospital ward, to be held close again, and to keep growing.
May Usman recover safely and soon, and may he find his way back into his mother's arms, to grow up slowly, in love and in warmth.
