At 12:44 PM on the eighth day of Lunar New Year 2026, Mr. Ting Cheng Hin passed away peacefully in the hospital and went home to the Lord.

He leaves behind four children. Throughout his life, he worked tirelessly to make ends meet and carried the weight of the family on his shoulders.

Despite financial hardship and years of separation from his wife, he never walked away from his responsibility as a father.

To his children, he was the father who never complained of being tired. Even when his body had long shown warning signs, as his organs gradually failed, he chose to endure the pain in silence, not wanting his children to worry.

On the day it happened, he only felt dizzy. Without informing his children, he went to a clinic for an IV drip on his own. He did not know it was a warning sign of a stroke. He pushed himself to make it home. Only when he could no longer move did his children rush him to the hospital.

But the stroke had already triggered multiple organ failure, affecting his kidneys and heart.

During what should have been a season of reunion and celebration, he quietly left this world. A father who was used to being strong even in collapse, he did not want to trouble his children.

His four children are not financially well-off. After covering the cost of their father’s memorial tablet, they are no longer able to bear the full funeral expenses.
