【A Final Farewell to a 32-Year-Old｜May Kindness Accompany Him on His Final Journey】
Some lives may be brief, yet every step of the journey was lived with courage and perseverance.
The late Mr.Yong Zhen Quan was only 32 years old.
Born prematurely, he had been physically frail since childhood and faced many health challenges throughout his life.
Despite his condition, he was a bright and hardworking student. He pursued his studies in finance and later entered the financial industry, hoping to build a stable future through his own efforts.
However, shortly after beginning his career, he started experiencing frequent vomiting. As his body could no longer cope with the demands of work, he was eventually forced to stop working.
After taking some time to recover, he tried to return to the workforce. Unfortunately, he was unable to secure another job.
It was never because he did not try.
His health simply made every step in life more difficult than it was for others.
Recently, he was admitted to the hospital due to persistent vomiting. After receiving medication, he was discharged and appeared to be getting better.
Sadly, just a few days later, the vomiting returned. He was admitted to the hospital once again but unfortunately passed away. His cause of death was Intestinal Volvulus.
This sudden loss has left his family heartbroken and struggling to come to terms with his passing.
He is survived by his father, mother and younger sister.
The family’s combined monthly income is below RM6,000. Since the Movement Control Order (MCO), his father has no longer worked in the construction industry. He now earns approximately RM2,000 per month by providing transportation and childcare-related assistance for schoolchildren.
The family was already living with limited financial means. Now, while grieving the sudden loss of their son, they must also bear the full cost of his funeral arrangements an overwhelming burden during an already painful time.
We are therefore launching this funeral assistance fundraiser to help the family cover the full funeral expenses and give him a dignified, respectful and proper farewell.
